Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1. Add Chopped mixed Vegetables into a bowl. I have used carrots, peas and green beans.

Step 2. Add Spinach or Fenugreek Leaves. I have used Fenugreek Leaves as it gives off a delicious fragrant smell once baked

Step 3. Add Semolina Flour.

Step 4. Add Chickpea Flour.

Step 5. Add Salt, Coriander Leaves, Baking soda, Baking powder, Cumin Seeds.

Step 6. Add Ginger Paste, Garlic Paste and Green Chili Paste.

Step 7. Mix all the ingredients together.

Step 8. Add Oil and Greek Style Yogurt.

Step 9. Gently mix all the ingredients together.

Step 10. Grease the baking tray with oil to make it non-stick. I used a paper towel to apply the oil to the tray. Place the mixture into baking tray and level it out.

Step 11. Sprinkle poppy seeds on top.

Step 12. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 - 45 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 13. Allow the Savoury Cake to cool down before cutting it into cubes of approximately 5cm by 5cm.

Ingredients
1½ Cups Chopped Spinach or Fenugreek leaves
1½ Cups Mixed Veg
1 Cups Semolina
½ Cup Chickpea Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
¼ Teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda
½ Cup Oil of your choice (I use Sunflower oil)
1 Cups Greek Yogurt
1 Teaspoons Cumin seeds
1 Teaspoons Salt
¼ Cup chopped Coriander leaves
¼ Teaspoon Garlic Paste
½ Teaspoon Ginger paste
¼ Teaspoon Green Chili paste (Optional) or Green Chilies chopped very fine
Poppy seeds to sprinkle on top of mixture
Bake at 180 Degrees Celsius for 30-45 minutes or until golden brown.
